About Greg

Greg Marano, résumé specialist at The Syracuse Pen, is a member of the National Résumé Writers Association. He has studied writing and English literature in the United States and Great Britain, with short fiction pieces published in both countries. His international and award-winning domestic journalism pieces have appeared in USA Today and other Gannett newspapers, he has been featured on Fatherly.com, and short opinion pieces have appeared in The Atlantic and The New York Times.

Greg holds a master’s degree in education from Marist College and a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from the State University of New York. Originally from New York’s Hudson Valley, Greg now lives outside Syracuse, N.Y., with his wife, son, and two dogs.
